The new and improved version of the Chevy Tahoe that will be on market in mid 2020 is certainly aimed to please. From advanced safety technology, to a more roomy interior, this new SUV truly is the whole package.

Safety Specs

Chevy knows that their Tahoe model is designed to carry precious cargo—whether that be your family or hauling furniture across town. They have implemented the most up-to-date vehicle safety technology to ensure that you feel secure in your ride. Safety features include an emergency braking system, rear pedestrian and blind spot alerts, and HD quality cameras that allow you to see 360 degrees around your vehicle.

For those who utilize the Tahoe’s trailer hitch, safety does not stop within your vehicle. The new model is equipped to gauge trailer tire pressure and temperature right from the driver seat so you can be confident that your trailer is in good condition while on the road. No more anxiety or pulling over at rest-stops every hour to make sure your trailer is still properly intact, now you can focus on the road and your destination with peace of mind.

Spacious and Comfortable Architecture

The 2021 Chevy Tahoe is situated on a newly designed chassis that allows for a smooth ride even on unpaved or uneven roads. It has magnetic ride control and air ride adaptive suspension which work together to adapt to the terrain you are on and adjust shock absorption appropriately. The new Tahoe also has an independent rear suspension system to keep the entire vehicle balanced whether on a back-country dirt road or a pothole ridden city street.

Load floors have been lowered in the new Tahoe as compared to older models, which provides a whopping 10 extra inches of legroom for passengers as well as 66% more cargo space behind the third row of seats. These lowered floors also make it easier to load and unload items from your Tahoe. A novel feature for the Tahoe is the ability to slide the second row seats forward or backwards about 5.5 inches, making the interior pliable to whatever contents you need to pack in.

Mileage and Engine Efficiency

The 2021 Tahoe is equipped with a 355 horsepower V-8 engine on the LS, LT, Z71, RST and Premier models, and a 420 horsepower V8 engine on the High Country Model. All models except the Z71 provide the option to include a new 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel engine as well. These engines work with the dynamic fuel management system to optimize fuel efficiency and get you the best gas mileage even when traveling with a trailer attached. The Tahoe has a 10 speed automatic transmission and the ability to shift gears at the push of a button.

The Chevy Tahoe has been the best-selling full size SUV in America for decades, and for good reason. As technology advances, the Tahoe does too. Chevy is committed to excellence and innovation, which is why you can expect nothing short of perfection with the new 2021 Tahoe.
